The Union of Estonian Architects supports the position of Ukrainian architects and their efforts to preserve democracy in the country. In their public address, members of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine form Kiev, Donetsk, Crimea, Dnipropytrovsk, Lviv, and Odessa express their shock and indignation towards Russia’s wide-scale act of aggression.
“No war has ever created anything new. Each city or building destroyed is a piece of humanity’s common cultural heritage lost. There can be no winners and losers in this story, but only grief for lost lives,” says Indrek Allmann, President of the Union of Estonian Architects in his letter of support.
The address made by the National Union of Architects of Ukraine calls the international public, including architects all over the works, to express their solidarity and support for the liberty and rights of the Ukrainian nation.
Original letter was sent om March, 4, to the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, Estonian Embassy in Ukraine, Ukrainian Embassy in Estonia and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia.
