Viimsi Rural Municipality Government aims to establish one of the strongest educational networks among local municipalities (of Estonia) and thus has boldly started to implement the goal. The establishment of Viimsi Gymnasium insists on creating better conditions for hobby education as well, so that those who wish can access various opportunities to practice hobby activities of high quality. Thus the preparations for establishing Viimsi School for Young Talens have started. The objective of the school is to ensure synergy and collaboration between the schools and hobby education schools in Viimsi municipality.
In collaboration with Estonian Association of Architects the architectural design contest for Viimsi School for Young Talents has been launched - the purpose of the contest is to assemble the schools and institutions for hobby education with all the relevant functions into one modern, well-functioning and architecturally high-quality building.
The site of the contest is situated in the heart of Viimsi municipality - Allika cadastral unit, Lubja village, Viimsi Rural Municipality. The design entries are expected to demonstrate integral architectural, logistic and furbishing design while creating attractive and friendly surrounding public space.

The design entries should be submitted on October 2nd 2018, by 5:00PM the latest at Viimsi Rural Municipality Government, Nelgi tee 1, Viimsi Rural Municipality, 74001 Harju County, Estonia.
They jury will anounce the winners the latest by the end of October 2018.

The prize fund of the contest is 30 000€ which will be divided as following:
The award for the first place shall be 12 000€;
The award for the second place shall be 8 000€;
The award for the third place shall be 5 000€.
In addition, the jury may provide two honorable mentions, each in the amount of 2 500€.
